IE Consulting completed the drainage design for a Strategic Housing Development (SHD) in Gorey, County Wexford in early 2019. The proposed development includes 297 residential properties and crèche facilities at the former Walsh Mushroom factory site in Creagh, which is located on the northern side of the town boundary.
IE Consulting carried out the foul, surface water and water supply design for the development, including preparation of the Engineering Design Report. Further services provided included the preparation of a Site Specific Flood Risk Assessment, Construction and Demolition Waste Management Plan and Excavation Plan. Elements of the Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) were also prepared including the Land and Soils Chapter and the Water Chapter. The SHD application was submitted to An Bord Pleanála in February 2019.
